शिव महोत्सव समिती, वणी यांच्या वतीने २८ आणि २९ डिसेंबर २०२४ रोजी आयोजित दहाव्या बळीराजा व्याख्यानमालेत शब्दालयचा सन्मान करण्यात आला. मराठी साहित्य, वैचारिक संवाद आणि वाचनसंस्कृतीसाठी शब्दालय करीत असलेल्या कार्याला मिळालेली ही गौरवपूर्ण दाद आहे.
Shabdalay was honoured at the tenth Baliraja Vyakhyanmala, organised by Shiv Mahotsav Samiti, Wani, on 28 and 29 December 2024. The recognition celebrates Shabdalay’s continuing contribution to Marathi literature, meaningful public dialogue and reading culture.
शिव महोत्सव समिती, वणी यांच्या वतीने आयोजित बळीराजा व्याख्यानमालेच्या दहाव्या वर्षात शब्दालयचा सन्मान करण्यात आला. २८ आणि २९ डिसेंबर २०२४ रोजी झालेल्या या वैचारिक उपक्रमाच्या निमित्ताने शब्दालयला सन्मानचिन्ह प्रदान करण्यात आले. शब्दालय परिवारासाठी हा अभिमानाचा आणि साहित्यिक वाटचालीला प्रेरणा देणारा क्षण आहे.
बळीराजा व्याख्यानमाला ही साहित्य, शेती, ग्रामीण जीवन, सामाजिक प्रश्न आणि समकालीन विचार यांना सार्वजनिक चर्चेच्या केंद्रस्थानी आणणारी वैचारिक परंपरा आहे. वक्ते, लेखक, अभ्यासक आणि जागरूक श्रोते यांना एकत्र आणणाऱ्या अशा उपक्रमांमुळे समाजात संवाद, चिंतन आणि वाचनाची संस्कृती दृढ होते.
शब्दालयने मराठी पुस्तके, साहित्यिक उपक्रम, लेखक–वाचक संवाद आणि वाचनसंस्कृतीच्या प्रसारासाठी सातत्याने केलेल्या प्रयत्नांच्या संदर्भात हा सन्मान विशेष महत्त्वाचा ठरतो. वणीसारख्या साहित्यप्रेमी परिसरातून मिळालेली ही दाद शब्दालयच्या कार्याची व्यापक पोहोच आणि सामाजिक बांधिलकी अधोरेखित करते.
हा गौरव शब्दालयचा एक संस्थात्मक सन्मान असला, तरी त्यामागे लेखक, वाचक, संपादक, प्रकाशन क्षेत्रातील सहकारी आणि साहित्यप्रेमी यांचे सामूहिक योगदान आहे. बळीराजा व्याख्यानमालेचे हे सन्मानचिन्ह शब्दालयच्या साहित्यिक अभिलेखातील महत्त्वाची नोंद आणि पुढील वाटचालीसाठी प्रेरणास्थान आहे.
Shabdalay was felicitated during the tenth year of the Baliraja Vyakhyanmala organised by Shiv Mahotsav Samiti, Wani. A commemorative memento was presented to Shabdalay during the two-day intellectual programme held on 28 and 29 December 2024. For the Shabdalay family, this recognition marks a proud and inspiring milestone in its literary journey.
The Baliraja Vyakhyanmala represents a public tradition that brings literature, agriculture, rural life, social concerns and contemporary ideas into meaningful conversation. Such platforms connect speakers, writers, scholars and engaged audiences while strengthening a culture of reading, reflection and informed dialogue.
The honour is especially significant in the context of Shabdalay’s sustained work for Marathi books, literary activities, author–reader engagement and the wider reading movement. Recognition from a literature-loving community such as Wani reflects the reach of Shabdalay’s work and its commitment to culturally meaningful initiatives.
Although this is an institutional honour for Shabdalay, it also acknowledges the collective contribution of authors, readers, editors, publishing partners and literary enthusiasts. The memento from the Baliraja Lecture Series is an important record in Shabdalay’s literary archive and an encouragement for its continuing journey.
