लोकमतच्या नाशिक मुख्य आवृत्तीत २४ मार्च २०२६ रोजी प्रमोद गायकवाड यांच्या ‘आदिवासी लयगाथा’ या पुस्तकाला मिळालेल्या सन्मानाची बातमी प्रसिद्ध झाली. उपलब्ध पुरस्कारफलकानुसार, मराठी वाङ्मय परिषद, बडोदे आयोजित अखिल भारतीय मराठी साहित्य स्पर्धा २०२५ मध्ये या पुस्तकाला ललितसंग्रह विभागाचे द्वितीय पारितोषिक मिळाले. वृत्तानुसार गायकवाड यांना सन्मानचिन्ह आणि प्रमाणपत्र प्रदान करण्यात आले.
