सहकार चळवळीचे जनक पद्मश्री डॉ. विठ्ठलराव विखे-पाटील यांच्या 126 व्या जयंतीनिमित्त प्रवरा परिवारातर्फे देण्यात येणारा प्रतिष्ठेचा साहित्य जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार ज्येष्ठ साहित्यिक उत्तम कांबळे यांना जाहीर झाला आहे. यासोबत साहित्य, नाट्य, कला आणि प्रबोधन क्षेत्रातील विविध राज्यस्तरीय पुरस्कारांचीही घोषणा करण्यात आली.
Veteran Marathi writer Uttam Kamble has been selected for the prestigious Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe-Patil Literary Lifetime Achievement Award, announced as part of the Pravara family's 36th annual state-level honours in literature, theatre, art and social enlightenment.
सहकार चळवळीचे जनक पद्मश्री डॉ. विठ्ठलराव विखे-पाटील यांच्या 126 व्या जयंतीनिमित्त प्रवरा परिवारातर्फे देण्यात येणाऱ्या राज्यस्तरीय साहित्य, कला, नाट्य आणि प्रबोधन पुरस्कारांची घोषणा करण्यात आली. या पुरस्कार परंपरेचे हे 36 वे वर्ष आहे. प्रतिष्ठेचा पद्मश्री डॉ. विठ्ठलराव विखे साहित्य जीवनगौरव पुरस्कार ज्येष्ठ साहित्यिक उत्तम कांबळे यांना जाहीर झाला. पुरस्काराचे स्वरूप ₹1 लाख आणि स्मृतिचिन्ह असे आहे.
पत्रकारिता आणि साहित्याच्या माध्यमातून समाजातील शोषित व वंचित घटकांचे जीवन, संघर्ष आणि अनुभव वाचकांसमोर प्रभावीपणे मांडल्याबद्दल उत्तम कांबळे यांच्या साहित्यिक योगदानाची या पुरस्कारासाठी निवड करण्यात आली.
याचबरोबर संहिता राजन यांच्या ‘चल गं सये वारुळाला’ या कथासंग्रहाला राज्यस्तरीय उत्कृष्ट साहित्य पुरस्कार ₹51,000 व स्मृतिचिन्हासह जाहीर झाला. सुरेंद्र दरेकर यांच्या ‘समर ऑफ सेव्हेंटी नाईन’ कादंबरीला विशेष साहित्य पुरस्कार, सचिन शिंदे यांना नाट्यसेवा पुरस्कार आणि ज्येष्ठ तमाशा कलावंत मालती इनामदार यांना कलागौरव पुरस्कार जाहीर करण्यात आला.
मराठी अभ्यास परिषदेला प्रबोधन पुरस्कार, ‘खटपट’ या आत्मचरित्रासाठी निवृत्ती जोरी यांना अहिल्यानगर जिल्हास्तरीय साहित्य पुरस्कार आणि डॉ. संजय गोर्डे यांच्या ‘शांतीच्या शोधात’ या पुस्तकाला उत्तेजनार्थ साहित्य पुरस्कार जाहीर करण्यात आला. पुरस्कार वितरण 27 ऑगस्ट 2026 रोजी प्रवरानगर येथे 99 व्या अखिल भारतीय मराठी साहित्य संमेलनाचे अध्यक्ष विश्वास पाटील यांच्या हस्ते आयोजित करण्यात आले होते.
Veteran Marathi writer Uttam Kamble was selected for the prestigious Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe-Patil Literary Lifetime Achievement Award as part of the awards announced to mark the 126th birth anniversary of Padmashri Dr. Vitthalrao Vikhe-Patil. The Pravara family's state-level awards, now in their 36th year, recognise important contributions to literature, theatre, folk art and social enlightenment.
The Lifetime Achievement Award for Uttam Kamble carries ₹1 lakh and a memento. The selection recognises his literary and journalistic work portraying the experiences, struggles and realities of marginalised and disadvantaged communities.
Other honours include the State-Level Outstanding Literature Award for Samhita Rajan's “Chal Ga Saye Varulala,” the Special Literature Award for Surendra Darekar's “Summer of Seventy Nine,” the Theatre Service Award for Sachin Shinde, and the Kala Gaurav Award for veteran Tamasha artist Malati Inamdar. The Marathi Abhyas Parishad was selected for the Prabodhan Award, while Nivrutti Jori and Dr. Sanjay Gorde were also recognised for their literary works.
The awards ceremony was scheduled for 27 August 2026 at Pravaranagar, with Vishwas Patil, president of the 99th Akhil Bharatiya Marathi Sahitya Sammelan, presenting the awards in the presence of several dignitaries.
