ग्रंथमित्र डॉ. शिवाजीराव चव्हाण ग्रंथालयातर्फे देण्यात येणारे उत्कृष्ट ग्रंथ पुरस्कार लेखक सत्यजित पाटील यांच्या ‘कुत्रे (एका शुष्क पानझडी जंगलातील नोंदी)’ आणि डॉ. शंतनू अभ्यंकर यांच्या ‘बायकांत पुरुष लांबोडा’ या पुस्तकांना जाहीर झाले.
Books by authors Satyajit Patil and Dr. Shantanu Abhyankar were selected for the Granthmitra Dr. Shivajirao Chavan Library’s annual awards recognising noteworthy Marathi books published during 2022.
ग्रंथमित्र डॉ. शिवाजीराव चव्हाण ग्रंथालयातर्फे 1 जानेवारी ते 31 डिसेंबर 2022 या कालावधीत प्रकाशित झालेल्या पुस्तकांमधून दोन पुस्तकांची प्रतिष्ठेच्या उत्कृष्ट ग्रंथ पुरस्कारांसाठी निवड करण्यात आली. या पुरस्कारासाठी 86 लेखकांनी आपली पुस्तके पाठवून सहभाग घेतला होता.
‘ग्रंथमित्र डॉ. शिवाजीराव चव्हाण उत्कृष्ट ग्रंथ पुरस्कार’ नाशिकचे लेखक सत्यजित पाटील यांच्या ‘कुत्रे (एका शुष्क पानझडी जंगलातील नोंदी)’ या पुस्तकाला जाहीर झाला. हे पुस्तक श्रीरामपूर येथील शब्दालय प्रकाशन यांनी प्रकाशित केले आहे.
तर ‘सौ. सुमन शिवाजीराव चव्हाण उत्कृष्ट ग्रंथ पुरस्कार’ वाई येथील लेखक आणि वैद्यकीय तज्ज्ञ डॉ. शंतनू अभ्यंकर यांच्या ‘बायकांत पुरुष लांबोडा’ या पुस्तकाला जाहीर झाला. हे पुस्तक पुण्यातील विश्वकर्मा प्रकाशन यांनी प्रकाशित केले आहे.
दोन्ही पुरस्कारांचे स्वरूप प्रत्येकी अडीच हजार रुपये असल्याचे वृत्तात नमूद करण्यात आले आहे. पुरस्कारासाठी आलेल्या ग्रंथांचे परीक्षण स्वाती राऊत आणि डॉ. परिक्षिता भोसले यांनी केले. या पुरस्कारांमुळे समकालीन मराठी लेखन, वैचारिक साहित्य आणि निसर्गानुभवाधारित लेखनाला मिळणाऱ्या प्रोत्साहनाची नोंद अधोरेखित होते.
The Granthmitra Dr. Shivajirao Chavan Library announced its outstanding book awards for books published between 1 January and 31 December 2022. According to the Sakal report, 86 authors submitted books for consideration, from which two works were selected for the honours.
The Granthmitra Dr. Shivajirao Chavan Outstanding Book Award was presented to Nashik-based author Satyajit Patil for his book “Kutre (Eka Shushka Panjadi Jangalatil Nondi)”. The book was published by Shabdalaya Prakashan, Shrirampur.
The Sou. Suman Shivajirao Chavan Outstanding Book Award was awarded to Wai-based author and medical professional Dr. Shantanu Abhyankar for “Baykant Purush Lamboda.” The book was published by Vishwakarma Publications, Pune.
The newspaper report states that each award carried a cash prize of ₹2,500. The books submitted for the awards were evaluated by Swati Raut and Dr. Parikshita Bhosale. The recognition highlights significant contemporary Marathi writing and contributes to encouraging authors, publishers and readers within Maharashtra's literary community.
