ज्येष्ठ कवयित्री, लेखिका आणि शब्दालय प्रकाशनच्या संस्थापक सौ. सुमती लांडे यांना २०१६ मध्ये “स्व. शांतीकुमारजी फिरोदिया जीवन साहित्य पुरस्कार” प्रदान करून त्यांच्या साहित्यिक योगदानाचा गौरव करण्यात आला.

मराठी साहित्यविश्वातील उल्लेखनीय योगदानाबद्दल ज्येष्ठ कवयित्री, लेखिका आणि शब्दालय प्रकाशनच्या संस्थापक सौ. सुमती लांडे यांना २०१६ सालचा “स्व. शांतीकुमारजी फिरोदिया जीवन साहित्य पुरस्कार” प्रदान करण्यात आला. महाराष्ट्र साहित्य परिषद, शाखा अहमदनगर आणि शांतीकुमारजी फिरोदिया मेमोरियल फाउंडेशन, अहमदनगर यांच्याशी संबंधित साहित्य पुरस्कार वितरण समारंभात हा सन्मान देण्यात आला.
या पुरस्काराद्वारे सुमती लांडे यांच्या दीर्घ साहित्यप्रवासाचा, मराठी भाषा आणि साहित्याप्रती असलेल्या बांधिलकीचा तसेच नव्या लेखकांना व्यासपीठ उपलब्ध करून देण्याच्या त्यांच्या प्रयत्नांचा गौरव करण्यात आला. कवयित्री आणि लेखिका म्हणून त्यांनी मराठी साहित्य समृद्ध केले; तर शब्दालय प्रकाशनच्या माध्यमातून विविध लेखकांचे साहित्य वाचकांपर्यंत पोहोचविण्यासाठी सातत्याने कार्य केले.
